How Funding Through CaPA Works

CaPA partners with a network of individual and institutional donors to fund organizations that engage voters, advocate for progressive policies, and organize their communities. We prioritize organizations that are rooted in the communities they work in and conduct person-to-person outreach that builds trust year-round.

CaPA is a pooled resource grantmaker; unlike a grantmaking foundation, all CaPA grants come from our donor network and are driven by donor interest in specific geographies or types of organizations. We use the CaPA Connector platform to elevate organizations’ work to donors and move funds as they are raised.

We invite you to create a profile for your organization(s) on the CaPA Connector and update your profile at least once a year with as much information as possible about your programs and structure. We elevate 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC organizations, as well as all-volunteer groups.
